What to Pack

Find all the information you need to know to come to Convention prepared!

Dresses or slacks are appropriate for most Convention activities.  Please do not wear jeans to meetings or dinners.  Chicago in July is warm in the day but surprisingly cool in the afternoon.  Average daily highs rank in the mid-80s and dip into the mid-60s in the evening.  Breezes coming in off the lake can make the weather seem even cooler and you’ll be spending a lot of time in air conditioned hotel meeting rooms, so be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater.

Other Items to Bring
Fun Night:    For Fun Night, jeans, shorts, rubber-soled shoes and other casual attire are appropriate.  Remember that we'll be on the water for our dinner cruise, so it might be cooler than you'd expect.  We’ll be out and about on the 4th of July, so you might want to add a flair of red, white and blue to your casual wear.

Ritual:  Please wear white or pastel.

Final Banquet:  Time to don your glitz and glamour!  Formal attire is appropriate:  dressy suits, dresses or pantsuits for women and dark suits and ties for men.
