Tri Delta's Criteria for Extension

When considering and researching campuses for extension opportunities, Tri Delta’s extension committee evaluates many areas of the college or university.  The questions below are used as a guideline to evaluate whether the campus fits into Tri Delta’s vision for extension and if Tri Delta would be a good fit for the campus.

  • What is the membership potential for a Tri Delta chapter on this campus?
  • What is the caliber of the student body?
  • What is the campus culture like?
  • Is there support from students and administrators for extension of the sorority community?
  • Would this campus contribute to Tri Delta’s geographical balance of chapters in order to maintain strength throughout the country?
  • Is there adequate alumnae strength in the area and willingness to support a collegiate chapter?
  • What is the college/university ranking?
  • What is the potential growth of the student body?
  • Other guidelines determined by Tri Delta’s Extension Committee
