Volunteering

Volunteers are an essential component to the perpetuation of the Fraternity. Tri Delta strives to create a volunteer experience that is mutually beneficial for the volunteer and those whom she serves.

Tri Delta asks for
Loyalty, faithfulness to a pledge once made,
Dedication to ideals once accepted and
Service to obligations once assumed
Mary Kay Paup Baker, Fraternity President 1972-76

Play an active role in Tri Delta's future. Tri Delta volunteers are mentors who share their expertise and experiences with others. Volunteers help develop policies and programs that will affect the future of our sisterhood. As a volunteer, you can grow with the Fraternity and assume positions with increased responsibility.

Discover new skills and develop existing skills. Tri Delta volunteers are called upon to practice leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Volunteers also work in varied areas of the Fraternity and explore new areas of individual interest. As a volunteer you can build your resume with practical skills, work experience and volunteer service.

Make friends and build your network. Tri Delta volunteers connect with sisters at conferences, training events, task forces and Convention. As a volunteer, you can develop relationships with other volunteers while working toward a common purpose.

Anyone can volunteer!  There are few requirements - You must be willing to commit your time for a few hours per week, be willing to learn, have fun, and be a dues paying alumna member.
