Our Delta Delta Delta Foundation, established in 1988 at Tri Delta’s Centennial Celebration, is a natural outgrowth of a founding principle of Tri Delta: “to assist its members in every possible way.” Original funding came from the Service Projects fund, dating back to 1942, the Crescent Fund, Founders Anniversary Fund and a $25,000.00 grant from the Fraternity.

At our July 2008 Convention in Chicago, our Foundation began celebrating its 20th Anniversary. If you were there, you felt the presence of our Foundation each day. Cassy Diehl’s moving story, Karina Shaver’s keynote address, Mari Ann Callais’ moving workshop on our Delta Delta Delta Rituals- all brought to you by your Tri Delta Foundation. We are proud, particularly, to have provided scholarships to attend Convention to leaders from our newest chapters: UT Dallas, North Carolina State, and Allegheny College.

Your donations enable the Foundation to assist our members in many, many ways. That support is critical to the continuing success of the Crescent Fund and Collegiate Crescent Fund, funds that assist alumnae and collegiate members in financial crisis. Our many scholarship funds allow our undergraduate and graduate sisters to continue their educations with a little less financial stress. Our Education and Leadership Fund and L.A. Key Fund develop chapter leaders, and educate our collegians with programs like GreekLife.edu and Kristen’s story.

As impressive and comprehensive as these programs are, none would be possible without your unrestricted donations. Implementation of each of these outstanding efforts takes countless hours of office staff and volunteer work. Your unrestricted donations are the lynchpin to “assisting our members in every possible way.”
