In just four years, Tri Delta raised more than $10 million for the Tri Delta Patient Care Floor, a full six years ahead of schedule. Thanks to our 139 Tri Delta chapters who continue to go above and beyond in raising more than $2.8 million each year.
We are thrilled to recognize the top fundraising chapter in the gold, silver and blue groups from the 2009-2010 academic year. The top chapters will have the opportunity to hang their school flag on the Tri Delta Patient Care Floor at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The flags will be on display for the entire school year following the fundraising accomplishment.
Congratulations to the following chapters who raised the most money during the 2009-2010 academic year:
Gold Group - University of Alabama, Delta Mu $93,000
The chapter partnered with a fraternity on campus to host a pancake breakfast. As a chapter they also participated in the Sincerely Yours letter-writing campaign and hosted a spring cookout.
Silver Group - University of Southern Mississippi, Phi Epsilon $78,000
The chapter hosted its annual Sincerely Yours, a Tees for Tots golf tournament and a softball tournament.
Blue Group - University of Toledo, Phi Alpha $64,000
The chapter hosted its annual golf tournament and encouraged members to participate in Sincerely Yours letter-writing. The chapter also produced and sold a Christmas CD to benefit St. Jude.
