Evergreen-Costa Rica 2012 was a
journey in leadership, adventure, and sisterhood! The Evergreen experience was
truly life changing for all of us.
Watching the Tri Delta collegians learn from one another, the curriculum,
and the Costa Rica culture was amazing.
They learned so much about themselves and what they have to offer not
only Tri Delta, but also whatever community they are a part of. The adventure included team-building activities
through white water rafting, problem solving through the Mission Bridge, and
learning more about how to apply the values and The Purpose of Tri Delta to
their experiences and life in general.
The women applied for the program and were selected by a committee to participate in the experience. Ten women from ten Tri Delta Chapters came together in an experience of a lifetime. Within the seven-day trip, they went from being strangers to being friends and sisters. The inaugural Evergreen trip we hope will be the first of many to come in the future. Plans for Evergreen Costa Rica 2013 are underway and will be introduced at Convention this summer. Pura Vida means "Pure Life" in Costa Rica and the Evergreen journey was truly "Pura Vida."
