Hundreds of outstanding women give of their, time, talent and treasure for our sisterhood every day. Please read through the notes below to read special messages for each volunteer.
Financial Specialists
I am honored to have been given the opportunity to talk about the amazing women that serve our Fraternity as financial specialists. The wonderful 35 women who comprise this team deal with the ins and outs of the collegiate chapters finances. They oversee everything from communicating with officers and advisors, sending out dues and 60-day letters, to helping with chapter budgets for the three to four collegiate chapters they work with.
I could go on for days about the dedication of these women to their chapters and to Tri Delta. It is a difficult role, extremely time consuming, and they do it fabulously while juggling the many other demands of their lives. They are wonderful illustrations of unselfish leadership and lifetime commitment to our organization.
Thank you, a million times over to each Tri Delta that serves or has served on the financial specialist volunteer team. Our 138 collegiate chapters couldn't do it without you, and neither could I.
Delta love and all of mine,
Michelle Blake, Texas-Arlington
Chapter Financial Operations Coordinator
Panhellenic Specialists
Do you know your positively phenomenal Panhellenic specialist team? Serving in the Northeast region is Laura Knapp, Toronto; in the South East, Kinsey Cooper, South Carolina; in the South Central, Angela Cring, Millsaps; in the Central region, Jennifer Peterson), Minnesota; and in the West is Cairn Lindloff, Nevada. These five amazing Tri Deltas have a wealth of knowledge from all their experiences serving our fraternity.
These include: collegiate chapter president--Jennifer, field consultant--Kinsey; collegiate district officers--Angela and Laura, and a campus panhellenic advisor--Cairn.
Laura, Kinsey, Angela, Jennifer, and Cairn serve as your links to Tri Delta's National Panhellenic Delegation members and are your first line of contact concerning any and all your Panhellenic questions. They are your authority on the NPC Manual of Information, setting total and evaluating need for extension on your campus. Laura is even training to be an RFM Specialist.
These five women are updating the collegiate panhellenic delegate's job description and are developing a notebook for your chapters' panhellenic delegates to use as they represent Tri Delta on their campuses! On behalf of Tri Delta's entire NPC team, we thank these women for all their time and efforts to support our collegians in their panhellenic endeavors. Please take the time to thank them for all they do for you.
Housing Specialists
I am very blessed to be working with a team of 10 dedicated Tri Deltas who help support National House Corporation's mission to enhance the collegiate living and learning experience. In August 2009, our team doubled in size! Three dedicated housing specialists returned and we appointed seven new volunteers who were eager to get involved! Housing Specialists serve as support for our house managers and house corporations by fielding questions, serving as sounding boards, offering advice and helping enforce Tri Delta's housing policies.
The housing specialist team is hardworking and quick thinking. I can always count on them to exhaust all of their resources to help our chapters and house corporations. Thank you for taking time out of your busy lives to give back to Tri Delta. I couldn't ask for a better team!
Loyally,
Jennifer K. Thomas, Texas/Arlington
Collegiate District Officers and Collegiate Chapter Coordinators
As Tri Deltas we all know what CCCo and CDO mean: Collegiate Chapter Coordinator and Collegiate District Officer. They are volunteers who give all of themselves to support the collegiate chapters of Tri Delta, but what people really don't realize is what CCCo and CDO really meas:
The CCCos and CDOs who serve Tri Delta are:
C - Cheerful, Chivalrous, Coach, Communicator
C - Calm, Candid, Capable
C - Caring, Catalyst, Conscientious
O - One, Official, Outstanding
C - Courageous, Confident, Courteous
D - Delightful, Determined, Dedicated
O - Objective, Original, Outstanding
And honestly, there is so much more to you all. Your support and commitment to your chapters, Tri Delta, her values and principles are so appreciated not just this week but all year long. Your time and talents are a gift that you give of yourselves freely.
The time you serve as a CCCo and CDO is some of the most rewarding work you will do for Tri Delta and for yourself. We are so grateful to each and every one of you. Your roles are time consuming and overwhelming, but each of you never waiver and forge ahead because you believe in the most important tenant of our Purpose: To establish a perpetual bond of friendship and endeavor to keep Tri Delta strong.
It is in honor and privilege to work with each of you. You inspire me on a daily basis, and working with each of you makes me want to strive to do my very best. With sincere gratitude and appreciation, I thank you.
Delta Love and Mine,
Diane Martin, Adelphi
