Originally two young women swore undying loyalty to Delta Delta
Delta, but soon there were two more and then fourteen. Now, 122 years later,
more than 238,000 have vowed to support the ideals of our Founders and to
steadfastly love one another.
Our first two Founders, Sarah Ida Shaw, Eleanor Dorcas Pond, and co-founders, Florence Isabelle Stewart and Isabel Morgan Breed, left us all a special heritage—their vision of a "society that shall be kind to all alike."
As Founders' Day approaches and we celebrate Tri Delta Foundation month in November, let us honor their vision by honoring their ideals of service, friendship, and sisterhood.
Your generous support of the Tri Delta Foundation honors the
vision of our Founders and the strength of our Tri Delta bond. For the past
year, we received 4,429 donations totaling $636,842. Thank you from:
- 40 scholarship recipients who received a total of $69,500
- 17 alumnae in crisis granted $99,150 through the Crescent Fund
- 15 financially challenged collegians who received $37,000 through the Collegiate Crescent Fund
- Thousands of Tri Deltas who benefited from Foundation-funded Fraternity leadership and educational programs ($54,200 granted)
- National Panhellenic Conference Foundation who was granted $18,880 in honor of past Fraternity President, Eve Woods Riley, as the newly installed Chairman of NPC
- And all who were inspired, energized and motivated at our Convention to raise $31,740 in donations
