
On April 26, Tri Delta celebrated the installation of its newest chapter, Epsilon Iota, at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa. Fraternity and university officials attended the installation, which was held at Riverside Country Club in Cambridge Springs.
Kate Gullata, Assistant Director for Greek Life; Toufik Madhun, IFC Greek President; and Abby McDonald, Panhellenic President presented the university welcome, and Jonathan Miller, Director for Greek Life, attended the event. Executive Board members Kristi Anderson Horner, Denison and LuAnn Riegl, Villanova, also attended; Kristi was toastmistress and LuAnn presented the Foundation gift to the chapter. A special guest was 1948 initiate Marilyn Posson Stephenson, Knox, who donated a potted pansy to each new initiate.
Initiation took place earlier in the day at the Ford Chapel on campus. The founding class of 64 members underwent the Trident and Stars and Crescent Degrees; five women took the Circle Degree, including honor initiate Brandy Bridge, and Marilyn Stephenson took the Golden Circle Degree.
A campus reception took place April 25 in the Schultz Dining Hall. Allegheny faculty and staff, as well as individuals from the campus Greek community, attended the event. Joe DiChristina, Dean of Students, spoke at the reception.
