Tri Delta awards a limited number of Eve Woods Riley UIFI Scholarships for members to attend the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute.
WHAT IS THE UNDERGRADUATE INTERFRATERNITY INSTITUTE (UIFI)?
UIFI is a five day institute bringing together fraternity men and sorority women from across North America to create opportunities to explore, define and enhance their leadership skills, personal awareness, commitment to their organization and growth to expect values-based action from themselves and those they lead.
At UIFI, you will be given the skills to improve your own leadership abilities and positively affect your chapter, council and community.
WHAT IS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF UIFI?
UIFI’s main purpose is to inspire and educate the current generation of fraternity and sorority leaders to become dedicated, courageous and principled builders of the future.
A UIFI sorority graduate not only learns important leadership lessons, but also reaches deep inside herself to find her true fraternal calling. She is changed forever.
WHAT DOES THE UIFI SCHEDULE OF EVENTS LOOK LIKE?
Day One: Activities and challenges help to build a strong community between the participants, and relationships are formed.
Day Two: The role that courage plays in ethical and revolutionary leadership is examined. Values and ethics and integrity are also discussed.
Day Three: Values, community and ritual are discussed.
Day Four: Actions, results, and the “Action Plan” is created. Much time is spent reflecting and consulting.
Day Five: Graduating from the UIFI experience and what is to follow, and the challenges that lie ahead.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR UIFI?
Any chapter member is eligible to apply.
Tri Delta awards a limited number of Eve Woods Riley UIFI Scholarships for members to attend this program, take advantage of this student leadership opportunity and reap the benefits of this fantastic, interfraternal interaction. In turn, we believe that participants will create positive change in their chapter, making Tri Delta a stronger organization.
Through Tri Delta, chapter members may apply for a scholarship to cover the $510.00 registration fee (including lodging and meals for the duration of the institute); although all chapter members are encouraged to apply and attend. ALL participants are responsible for their own travel expenses.
WHAT DOES TRI DELTA EXPECT FROM YOU?
To develop a personal plan of action and make a commitment leading your chapter through the change process.
To recount your UIFI experience, explaining what has been learned and what will be taken back to the chapter and how change will be implemented.
To be willing to talk about how sorority leaders live their Ritual and having the courage, character and commitment to do what is right and devise a plan to change the current direction of the organization.
Apply online for the Eve Woods Riley UIFI Scholarship. Please submit your completed application by March 13.
