May 21, 2008 -- Tri Delta is pleased to announce that The Trident received two writing awards at the 2008 Collegiate Fraternity Editors Association (CFEA) Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
"TV's Greek: Get Real" (summer 2007), written in response to the ABC Family television show, "Greek," won first place in the editorial comment category. The article was credited for being "clean, concise and well-organized." Feature article "The Sisterhood Trap" (spring 2007) won first place in the Greek life category. The article is about body image and eating disorders in a sorority setting, and judges called the article an "honest and frank discussion of a topic that plagues sororities."
