Tri Delta's partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital continues for over a decade.
Members have been working together since 1999 to show their support of St. Jude by hosting chapter philanthropic events, participating in the Sincerely Yours letter writing campaign, and individual contributions.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is one of the world's premier pediatric cancer research centers. Its mission is to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is turned away from treatment due to a family's inability to pay. In August 2010, Tri Delta announced it would take on a new, more aggressive challenge - to raise $15 million in 5 years to name the Specialty Clinic located in the Patient Care Center at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. No other Greek organization has made this level of commitment to a charitable partner, and few are raising a comparable amount of money. This new goal challenges all Tri Delta collegiate chapters & alumnae members to raise $3 million each year, collectively.
