Zeta Housing Campaign

The 160-member Zeta Chapter has outgrown its historic facility on Clifton Avenue and is at risk for falling behind the competition for near-campus living. With only half of the rental spots of some of its Panhellenic peers, as well as inadequate space to host the chapter, the facility can’t generate the income necessary to make the repairs needed to make significant additions or renovations.

With plans to redevelop the entire neighborhood surrounding the Tri Delta property on Clifton Avenue, Trinitas Corporation approached Zeta’s local house corporation and Tri Delta Housing about a potential sale of the chapter house. At the annual Zeta House Corporation meeting in 2019, the chapter voted to transfer ownership of the chapter house to Tri Delta Housing which currently owns and operates 58 houses nationwide. Tri Delta Housing felt it was in the best interest of the chapter to sell the current house and construct a brand-new facility.

Investing in our future

This opportunity allows us to build a larger, state-of-the-art property for future Zeta sisters. The new Tri Delta house will allow for a new 15,000 square foot home prominently located at the corner of University Court and Fortune Avenue.

What is being done?
The construction of a new house on a new lot will include:
Increased living capacity to 32 beds
Chapter room to accommodate all members for weekly chapter meeting
Enough dining space for members to be on a meal plan during the week
Competitive amenities such as laundry on each floor, and office space for chapter leaders
More community areas to make sure the house is accessible to live-in members and non-live in members

Tax-deductible donations to support the Zeta Chapter’s Living, Learning and Leading campaign may be made to Tri Delta’s Foundation.
