2018-2019 Foundation Scholarships
Foundation | January 9, 2018

With financial aid not stretching as far as it did in previous years, today’s college students are faced with taking out more student loans, and many are also juggling jobs with their academics to help cover the cost of their education.

If this sounds like you, the Tri Delta Foundation is here to help! Understanding that college affordability directly affects its members, the Foundation provides scholarships to assist Tri Delta sisters on their educational journeys.

Who is Eligible?

Undergraduate and graduate students that are initiated members of Delta Delta Delta in good standing are eligible to apply. The undergraduate and graduate scholarships have slightly different qualifications that are further described in the online application.

In addition, members may qualify for specific scholarship funds based on certain criteria. You can see the full list of all available scholarships here.

How to Apply?

  1. Members can apply for the following online:
  2. By creating a Smarter Select account you will be able to start, save and submit your application online. And even if you qualify for multiple scholarships, you will only need to fill out one application.
  3. A completed application must be submitted by March 1, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. CST.

Recipients of the 2018-2019 Foundation scholarships will be notified and announced on June 1, 2018.

What is the benefit?

In 2017, a total of $396,078 in academic scholarships were awarded to 151 deserving undergraduate and graduate members to assist them on their educational journeys, including Lexi Leggs, Millikin. After receiving the scholarship and seeing the impact it has on her future, she hopes to encourage all Tri Delta members to apply:

“You never know what you are truly capable of achieving until you actually try, and the Tri Delta Foundation is giving you the opportunity to knock it out of the park.”

By supporting the academic pursuits of our sisters, the Tri Delta Foundation is fulfilling our Fraternity’s Purpose of “broadening the moral and intellectual lives” of our members.
