2018 Cerulean Celebration Awards Gala

At Convention 2018, we celebrated all things Tri Delta! Our collegiate and alumnae chapters were recognized at the Cerulean Celebration Awards Gala for their outstanding performance as they elevate Tri Delta through passion for service, leadership, communication and member experience.

Awards were also presented to individuals who have demonstrated steadfast love and rendered willing service to Tri Delta as they continue to be inspiration for others as they Live Kind and Lead Kind.

MENTORING WITH PURPOSE AWARD

The Mentoring with Purpose Award recognizes collegiate advisory teams that provide hands-on and meaningful coaching and guidance to support collegiate members to develop leaders and encourage a strong sisterhood.

Julie Vinson, Southeast Missouri, Alumna Advisor for Phi Mu Chapter at Southeast Missouri State University
Phi Theta Chapter Advisory Team at Auburn University
Camille Wolfe, Charleston, Alumna Advisor of Gamma Psi Chapter at Wofford College

LOCAL HOUSE CORPORATION AWARD

The Local House Corporation Award recognizes the local house corporation that provides outstanding service to their respective collegiate chapter, ensuring members are empowered to live, learn and lead in a safe, engaging and comfortable housing environment.

Congratulations to the Theta Beta House Corporation at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

ALUMNAE CHAPTER AWARDS

EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNICATION AWARD
The Excellence in Communication Award recognizes the top alumnae chapters who exhibit timely and meaningful communication among members, the local community and Executive Office to ensure an engaging membership experience.

The Excellence in Member Experience Award recognizes the two top alumnae chapters who exhibit engaging and meaningful membership activities to promote sisterhood and lifelong involvement with Tri Delta and the local community.

EXCELLENCE IN PHILANTHROPY WITH PURPOSE AWARD
The Excellence in Philanthropy with Purpose Award recognizes the top alumnae chapters who exhibit an unselfish and steadfast commitment to leading the way in philanthropic endeavors to benefit the Tri Delta Foundation, local children’s cancer charities and initiatives and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

EXCELLENCE IN SERVING OTHERS AWARD
The Excellence in Serving Others Award recognizes the top alumnae chapters who give generously of their time and talent to serve others within Tri Delta and their local community through hands-on engagement opportunities.

ELEANOR DORCAS POND AWARD
The Eleanor Dorcas Pond Award recognizes the top alumnae chapter who has exhibited overall exceptional and rewarding experiences to their members while maintaining a viable roster, promoting lifetime membership, offering diversity in activities and reflecting a commitment to sisterhood and the Purpose of Tri Delta.

Congratulations to the Atlanta, Georgia Alumnae Chapter.

HALLER AWARDS FOR COLLEGIATE CHAPTERS

The Haller Award was established in 1994, in honor of Margaret Paddock Haller, past Fraternity President, to recognize collegiate chapters who have shown outstanding achievement during the biennium.

Award attributes consist of having a successful recruitment, well-balanced programming, outstanding academic achievement, strong sisterhood, a commitment to Tri Delta’s Purpose and Rituals, financial responsibility, good alumnae relations, strong risk management, and good campus and Panhellenic relations.

VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD

The Volunteer Service Award recognizes the Tri Delta volunteers who are serving on the alumnae volunteer or collegiate volunteer teams, and who have demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to both the Fraternity and members/chapters they serve. Recipients of this award will need to have met and exceeded all volunteer responsibilities throughout their current volunteer term.

VISION AWARDS

The Vision Award honors our valued partners who have made significant contributions to Tri Delta’s success as a premier women’s organization. Tri Delta has experienced a substantial amount of growth over the last several years – across all aspects of our business – with the help of these partners.

ERNESTINE BLOCK GRIGSBY AWARD

The Ernestine Block Grigsby Award is a prestigious award presented by the Executive Board each biennium to an alumna member who, through her loyalty and dedication to Tri Delta, has given outstanding service to her local alumnae chapter.
