2019 Collegiate Chapter Award Winners

The 2019 Collegiate Chapter Awards were presented at our Collegiate Leadership Conference (CLC). Tri Delta’s 141 collegiate chapters showed off their school pride at the “Brave, Bold and Kind” Collegiate Awards Breakfast on Sunday, March 3.

Congratulations to our 2019 Collegiate Chapter Award winners and runners-up.

Leadership Excellence
Recognizes chapters that promote opportunities for continued personal growth throughout a member’s collegiate career and ensures the value of lifetime membership in Tri Delta.
Runner-Up: Louisiana State University
Winner: Virginia Tech

Brand Ambassador
Recognizes chapters for their ability to communicate and articulate the Tri Delta experience through effective public relations, marketing and media efforts both on and offline that reflect a positive image of the chapter and the Tri Delta brand.
Runner-Up: Baylor University
Winner: Oklahoma State

Philanthropy Excellence
Recognizes chapters for innovative and ongoing member education that emphasizes the value of philanthropic giving. This award considers chapters’ philanthropic efforts in support of the Tri Delta Foundation, childhood cancer charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or other charitable organizations, and chapters’ support of other campus/community organizations’ philanthropic efforts.
Runner-Up: Baylor University
Winner: University of Arkansas

Brave, Bold & Kind
Recognizes chapters who effectively utilize resources and provide programming for health, risk management and harm reduction. Chapters who receive this award go above and beyond traditional Tri Delta programming (i.e., BodyImage3D, Not Anymore) to educate members on the wellness of their chapter’s environment.
Runner-Up: University of California, Berkeley
Winner: Louisiana State University

Kind Alike to All
Recognizes chapters for their service projects, support of other organizations’ service projects and continued education to members on the value of unselfish leadership and service to others.
Runner-Up: University of Mississippi
Winner: University of Denver

Scholarship Excellence
Recognizes chapters that encourage and recognize excellence in scholarship for both initiated and new members by upholding chapter policies and bylaws and assisting members who fall below bylaws by providing resources and support.
Runner-Up: Louisiana State University
Winner: Southwestern University

Stars and Crescent
Recognizes chapters that elevate the significance of Tri Delta’s Ritual and Purpose in chapter life every day.
Runner-Up: University of Mississippi
Winner: Oklahoma State University

Kathleen Davis Nye Panhellenic
Recognizes chapters that demonstrate Panhellenic leadership, a commitment to Panhellenic ideals and efforts to strengthen Panhellenic on campus.
Runner-Up: University of Arkansas
Winner: University of Oregon

Sarah Ida Shaw
Recognized as the stars of our collegiate chapters, Sarah Ida Shaw Award nominees are known for their personal integrity and devotion to Tri Delta. These women are outstanding scholars and brave, bold and kind leaders who are living Tri Delta’s values and Purpose.
