Join Us for the 2020 Bylaws Town Halls
News, Sisterhood | June 20, 2020

Tri Delta will be hosting two Town Hall sessions to explore and discuss the proposed Bylaws amendments. Delegates are highly encouraged to attend these sessions.

All Tri Delta members in good standing are welcome – and encouraged – to attend the Bylaws Town Hall sessions to learn more about the 67 proposed amendments, ask questions or voice concerns. Convention delegates are responsible for voting on behalf of their alumnae or collegiate and chapter. Therefore, it is important for you to discuss the proposed Bylaws amendments with your chapter delegate.

The proposed amendments will be voted on by the Convention body at Tri Delta’s first ever, virtual Convention on Saturday, July 11, 2020.  The virtual event will FOCUS solely on business, including the consideration of proposed amendments to Tri Delta’s Bylaws, and the election and installation of our 2020-2022 Executive Board and Leadership Development Committee.

The BYLAWS OF DELTA DELTA DELTA are the governing documents of the Fraternity and are amended biennially during Convention. The Bylaws Committee received recommendations from Tri Delta members, evaluated them and proposed the amendments for adoption. A formal Notice of Bylaws Amendments is shared with Tri Delta’s membership before the Convention meeting where they will either be adopted or dismissed.

When & Where?

In May and June, Fraternity President Kimberlee Sullivan, Bylaws Chair Deborah Johnson and the Bylaws Committee hosted virtual town hall calls to discuss and review the proposed amendments. Please view the recording from either session to watch  these interactive discussions:
