Foundation, News | November 1, 2019

With financial aid not stretching as far as it did in previous years, today’s college students are faced with taking out more student loans, and juggling jobs alongside their academics to help cover the cost of their education. Understanding that college affordability directly affects our members, the Tri Delta Foundation provides scholarships to assist Tri Delta sisters on their educational journeys.

Undergraduate and graduate students that are initiated members of Tri Delta in good standing are eligible to apply. The undergraduate and graduate scholarships have slightly different qualifications that are further described in the online application.

Many chapters have specific scholarships available for members of those chapters. In addition, members may qualify for specific scholarship funds based on certain criteria. You can see the full list of all available scholarships here.

  4. If you are applying for a graduate scholarship your application must be submitted by April 1, 2020, at 11:59 P.M. CST.

Recipients of the 2020-2021 Foundation scholarships will be notified and announced on June 1, 2020.

In 2019, a total of $379,900 in academic scholarships were awarded to 165 deserving undergraduate and graduate members to assist in furthering their education. Scholarship recipient Jill Kleinkauf shared, “The cost of my education has become a financial burden, so this scholarship will enable me to take out less loans for the next year. I can redirect my time and money towards my upcoming law school application season as I will be applying to J.D. programs and continuing to study for the LSAT throughout the fall of my senior year.”

By supporting the academic pursuits of our sisters, the Tri Delta Foundation is fulfilling our Fraternity’s Purpose of “broadening the moral and intellectual lives” of our members.
