The Leadership Development Committee (LDC) will be at Volunteer Leadership Conference and Convention 2016 on July 1-4. If you are attending VLC or Convention this year, we encourage you to stop by and say hi! The LDC will have a booth at the Partner Showcase in the McArthur Ballroom Foyer during the following times:
- Friday, July 1 from noon to 5:30 p.m.
- Saturday, July 2 from noon to 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday, July 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What is the Leadership Development Committee?
The LDC is commissioned in Tri Delta’s Bylaws to evaluate and cultivate Fraternity leaders for service in elected and appointed positions. Its main goal is to help all Tri Delta women grow as leaders. This year, the LDC was tasked with slating several Board positions that will be voted on at Convention.
Who is Slated?
Throughout the biennium, the LDC develops leadership slates for the Executive Board, National House Corporation Board, Foundation Board of Trustees and the succeeding LDC.
The Executive Board is Tri Delta’s overall governing body, responsible for the strategic vision and continued health of the organization. The Executive Board includes one president and four directors.
Delta Delta Delta Foundation Board of Trustees
The Tri Delta Foundation governs the 501(c)(3) entity that is charged with raising funds for scholarships, leadership grants and emergency assistance which benefits Tri Delta, its chapters and its members. The Board of Trustees includes one president, one vice president, one secretary/treasurer and six additional trustees.
National House Corporation Board
The National House Corporation (NHC) is a non-profit corporation that supports, manages and grows all aspects of Tri Delta housing. The NHC Board includes one president, one vice president and three additional directors.
How to connect with the LDC?
The LDC encourages Tri Deltas to nominate themselves or a sister. Complete the Member Referral Form to self-nominate or refer a potential Fraternity leader to the LDC.
