Preparing For Your Chapter’s New Chapter Development Consultant!
Education, News | August 26, 2019

We are excited to introduce to you our chapter development consultants (CDCs) for the 2019-2020 academic year. As recently graduated Tri Delta members, they spent a month training at Executive Office to become the experts on all areas of Tri Delta, operations and leadership development.

A CDC visit is an investment from Tri Delta to our chapters. They work passionately and tirelessly to assist our chapters across North America in facilitating workshops, providing officer training, recruitment support, chapter operations, risk management and so much more. As a valuable resource to chapter officers, members, advisors and volunteers, we want to ensure her visit is helpful and productive.

Her time is valuable as she travels from chapter to chapter, as she doesn’t go home in between visits. When she arrives at your campus, she appreciates any small gestures you can do to make her feel at home. Our CDCs are so excited to get to know you, you chapter and your campus! Be sure to follow their adventures on Instagram!

We have provided several resources on the Resource Library for you to use to best prepare and make the most out of your CDC’s visit.

The following resources are great ways to prepare for your CDC’s arrival:

Complete this worksheet prior to meeting with your CDC so you will have specific talking points. A CDC can provide you with new ideas on how to take your position to the next level, work with your officer team and even introduce you to new resources and programs.

Once your CDC has left, she will send a Chapter Visit Executive Summary to recap her visit and give you action items that need to be completed as a result of her visit. It is important that you follow up on these items to help your chapter be the best it can be.

If you would like a visit from a CDC, please contact your collegiate district officer (CDO) to let her know and she can request a visit.

If you or your members are graduating in December or next spring and are interested in assisting and empowering Tri Delta members and chapters across North America, apply to be a CDC! Applications are due Dec. 1. You can read the full job description and qualifications here.
