Tri Delta is boldly leading the way and addressing important issues such as gender equity and barriers women face in the workplace. We remain committed to providing our members with the tools and resources to successfully navigate the transition from college to life after college.
Tri Delta proudly announced a new pilot initiative, Senior Seminar, this past fall. Through this pilot program, Tri Delta seniors had the opportunity to participate in education and programming that is designed to assist the member in transitioning from college to career and from collegiate to alumnae membership.
A Collaborative Commitment to Help Close the Wage Gap
Research on the gender pay gap shows that one year out of college, women are already earning significantly less than their male counterparts. Tri Delta partnered with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to address the issue and take an important step toward closing the pay gap. Tri Delta remains committed to helping our members live, learn and lead – with Purpose – for a lifetime by providing women the tools to empower and elevate themselves.
The Senior Seminar program includes the AAUW Start Smart Salary Negotiation workshop. This two-hour workshop is designed to empower women with the skills and confidence to successfully negotiate their salary and benefits packages. Women who negotiate increase their potential to earn higher salaries and better benefits packages.
