Tri Delta temporarily suspends operations of Theta Pi Chapter at UCLA

May 31, 2017

Tri Delta has temporarily suspended the operations of its Theta Pi Chapter at UCLA, for a minimum of four years, effective June 16, 2017.

“It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to temporarily suspend the operations of our Theta Pi chapter at UCLA,” said Tri Delta National President Kimberlee Di Fede Sullivan. “The decision was made to alleviate the significant financial burden the chapter is facing, following several years of declining membership numbers.”

Noting Tri Delta’s plans to return to the UCLA campus following a minimum four-year hiatus, Ms. Sullivan continued, “Our focus now is on assisting our collegiate members through this transition. The women of Theta Pi are brave, bold and kind.  They are cherished sisters who will continue as lifelong members of Tri Delta – first as unaffiliated collegiate members, and then as alumnae when they graduate.” She added, “We are working closely with the university and our loyal alumnae to ensure a successful return to full operations at UCLA.”
