Five Ways to Celebrate National Ritual Celebration Week 2021

February 26, 2021
Sisterhood

We’re highlighting Tri Delta’s Ritual during National Ritual Celebration Week (NRCW), March 1-7! Whether you’re a collegiate member or an alumna, check out these five ways you, as a chapter or an individual, can celebrate Tri Delta and our beautiful Ritual during National Ritual Celebration Week:

1. Participate in #BadgeDay21 on Social Media

NRCW kicks off with International Badge Day on March 1, first established in 1997 by the National Panhellenic Conference as a day for women—in sororities and different umbrella organizations—throughout the world to wear their sorority badges or letters in a celebration of sisterhood. On March 1, pin on your Stars and Crescent, take a pic and post it, sharing what it means to you and using #BadgeDay21.

2. Celebrate Ritual on International Women’s Day, March 8

On Monday, March 8, we will celebrate International Women’s Day in true Tri Delta fashion by hosting a very special Initiation ceremony to welcome new alumnae sisters into Tri Delta. We’ll also be celebrating our 2021 Women of Achievement. Go to CONNECTDDD and register today!

3. Self-Reflect With Tri Delta’s NEW Ritual Journal

Download Tri Delta’s Ritual journal, and set aside some time this week to reflect on what our Ritual means to you and how you can live Tri Delta’s values daily.

4. Refresh Your Ritual Knowledge

Did you know Tri Delta has a Ritual Recap video series that takes you through the meaning of our Ritual and Initiation ceremony? These are available for all members to watch on LEADDDer.org (Ritual and Ceremonies > Post-Initiation Videos).

5. Host a Ritual Study

Use Tri Delta’s Living Our Values presentation or The History of Tri Delta’s Badge to host a Ritual study with your chapter or a group of sisters. Find these presentations on the Ritual Portal of Tri Delta’s Resource Library.

Our Founders were brave, bold and kind leaders who envisioned a women’s fraternity that would inspire the ideals of truth, self-sacrifice and friendship. Tri Delta’s Ritual is the heart of our Fraternity and keeps those values alive with our members today. As we continue to strive for personal growth and development, Tri Delta’s Ritual provides inspiration and direction for ways we can better ourselves, our communities and the world.
