Tri Delta’s SOAR Student Assistance Gives Access to Free Support for Our Sisters

December 15, 2021
Empowerment, Philanthropy

One of the most powerful ways Tri Delta’s Foundation invests in our sisters is through transformational programming that will support and empower our members through college and beyond. Today’s college students face a lot of challenges: they often deal with life changes, relationship challenges and stress—all while trying to set goals and stay motivated. On top of that, more than one-third of college students report issues with mental health, including depression and anxiety.

With meeting the needs of our members guiding our way, Tri Delta now provides access for our collegiate members and volunteers to a comprehensive student assistance program—SOAR—thanks to a generous grant from Tri Delta’s Foundation.

What Is SOAR?

SOAR provides Tri Delta’s members with 24/7 access to mental health professionals, school-life specialists, and legal and financial experts to help reduce stress, build resilience and better manage responsibilities at school, at home and in life.

SOAR benefits are confidential, free to use and available to all Tri Delta collegians and their family members—however you choose to define “family.”

Tri Delta members can talk to a SOAR clinician about any issue impacting their personal well-being. They can reach out for:

  • Emotional Wellness – They can speak to a clinician over the phone, or using video chat, about any emotional concern or family issue affecting their well-being.
  • Financial Wellness – Free financial consultation for budgeting, credit counseling, college funding, and more is available.
  • Legal and Identity Theft Consultation – They can get free consultation with an attorney for landlord/tenant negotiations, civil/consumer/criminal issues, and document preparation.
  • Tools for Daily Living™ – ACI’s SOAR offers unlimited referrals for all housing, car, education, and community-based resources.

Plus, SOAR can also provide referrals for personal services, self-care and healthy living.

Get 24/7 support now by calling 855-786-0275 or visiting Tri Delta’s SOAR student portal.

Life-Changing Support Through Trilogy

SOAR is made possible through Trilogy, Tri Delta’s Foundation board-directed endowment to meet the most urgent needs of Tri Delta and our members. In 2019, Trilogy funded Tri Delta’s mental health program, Behind Happy Faces, offered to all collegiate members to help address the mental health crisis on college campuses. SOAR is the latest in life-changing support provided by Trilogy and our generous donors.
