Krystal Clark Named Chair of NPC Access and Equity Effort

September 23, 2020
News

Krystal Clark, Maryland, has been named chair of the National Panhellenic Conference’s (NPC) new Access and Equity Advisory Committee. This 14-member group has been formed to provide recommendations and guidance to the NPC Board of Directors, and its creation is an important step in helping eliminate the structural and systemic barriers blocking women from access to the sorority experience.

In a recent LEADDNOW interview, Krystal spoke of the committee’s charge to not only advise the NPC as whole, but also help member organizations understand how their individual policies, practices and procedures could be creating those barriers. She also shares her recruitment experience as a Person of Color at William and Mary, valuable lived experience that will bring unique insight to her work with NPC.

This appointment comes as Krystal begins a new professional role as director of employee learning and organizational effectiveness at Vanderbilt University. Part of the Vanderbilt student affairs staff since 2011, she now will lead a team focused on employee engagement and performance, compensation services, advancement of the university’s diverse and inclusive culture, creation of purposeful change and more.

We encourage all our sisters to watch or listen to Krystal’s powerful story. Tri Delta is grateful to have such a talented ambassador for the power of sisterhood and the Greek experience.
