What Is a CDC?
As a chapter development consultant (CDC), you’ll spend nine months as a full-time member of Tri Delta’s professional staff, partnering with collegiate chapters to strengthen operations, develop leaders, create exceptional member experiences and serve as the vital connection between chapters and Executive Office.
This isn’t just a gap year. It’s a career-building opportunity that develops transferable skills employers will value long after your CDC experience ends.
But Here’s What They Really Do …
As a CDC, you’ll serve as a coach, educator and consultant for collegiate chapters across North America. You’ll work closely with chapter officers, volunteers and Executive Office staff to help chapters grow, strengthen operations and create meaningful member experiences.
In this role, you’ll:
- Coach collegiate leaders to achieve their chapter goals.
- Facilitate leadership training and educational programs.
- Support chapters in strengthening operations, recruitment and member engagement.
- Analyze chapter strengths and identify opportunities for growth.
- Build relationships with volunteers and campus partners.
- Represent Tri Delta with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Manage projects, deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
