What is alumnae membership?

Alumnae membership in Tri Delta offers friendship, professional development, informal networking and personal enrichment.

As an alumna you have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, participate in community service projects and assist Tri Delta's collegiate members. Many alumna members are personally involved in the continuation and growth of the Tri Delta throughout their lifetime.

  • Join an alumnae chapter
  • Attend Pansy Brunch, reunions, anniversaries, homecoming, etc.
  • Make contact with a sister through a letter, fax, phone call or e-mail
  • Participate in Founders' Day

Financial support

  • Pay dues
  • Donate to the Foundation
  • Be a financial advisor or financial specialist for a collegiate chapter
  • Donate items to a collegiate chapter, such as desks, lamps, etc.

Collegiate support

  • Write references for potential new members
  • Be an advisor
  • Be an alum chum
  • Serve on a house corporation board
  • Donate supplies or decorations for recruitment
  • Be a guest speaker about your career, interests or hobbies
  • Assist with a social function

Professional development

  • Provide career lists of contacts for recent graduates
  • Participate in a career night
  • Provide life-after-college information to graduating seniors on budgeting, finding apartments, joining an alumnae chapter and volunteering in the community
  • Offer advice for internships/jobs
  • Provide graduate student support
  • Provide relocation assistance
  • Share interviewing strategies
  • Share resume-writing tips

Community service/philanthropy

  • Participate in a collegiate/alumnae philanthropy
  • Assist with registration for an event
  • Donate items such as baked goods or drinks
  • Organize an alumnae philanthropy event
